    Roddy Ricch

GRAMMY® Award-winning rap superstar Roddy Ricch has shared his brand new single, Ghetto Superstar (Feat. G Herbo & Doe Boy).

The new single arrives just weeks before Roddy will perform live in New Zealand for the first time at Listen In, the Auckland festival going down on September 30th. We're so gassed to see Roddy live.

Ghetto Superstar marks the first time Mustard and Southside have tag-teamed to produce a record, and the sixth collab between Roddy & Mustard.  Previously, the pair joined forces on The Big 3’s Real Talk, Late At Night  (from Roddy’s 2021 album Live Life Fast), Real Life (from Ty Dolla Sign’s 2020 album Featuring Ty Dolla Sign), High Fashion (from Roddy’s debut album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial), and their 2019 collaborative single Ballin’.

Ghetto Superstar is a heavy hitter. It follows the release earlier this year of Ricch’s acclaimed new EP, THE BIG 3.

The three-song collection THE BIG 3 is highlighted by the smash summer single, Real Talk. The Mustard-produced track – which marked the GRAMMY® Award-winning (and 9x GRAMMY® Award-nominated) artist’s first new solo single since last year’s sophomore album, LIVE LIFE FAST – arrived alongside an official music video, directed by Colin Tilley. Real Talk was met by wide-ranging critical applause upon its arrival. REVOLT raving about the hard hitting track:

“‘Real Talk’ is a celebratory affair that’s full of melodic rhymes about money, women, and the street life that the Compton star has ascended from post-fame.”

LIVE LIFE FAST – which follows 2019’s 2x RIAA platinum, chart-topping debut album, PLEASE EXCUSE ME FOR BEING ANTISOCIAL, highlighted of course by the historic, 3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated, NZ #1 hit, The Box – arrived in December 2021 and made an explosive #1 debut on Billboard’s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart as well as at #4 on the overall Billboard 200.

Roddy has continued his momentum by delivering a string of scene-stealing guest appearances on songs from a wide range of artists, including Ella Mai, Post Malone, The Game, and DJ Khaled.

The Compton rapper is currently in the studio recording his forthcoming mixtape Feed Tha Streets 3,

We can't wait to hear it.
